#TorontoStrong

Our hearts are broken for our city. All our thoughts and prayers go to all those affected by the horrific tragedy today that is not too far from our building, on Yonge Street, between Finch Avenue and Sheppard Avenue. We are a proud multicultural city, country and building. This will NOT break us, we are a community and we will stand strong together.

Family members seeking information on patients should call 416-480-4940.

Towing Will Now Be In Effect

As you all know, for the last 2 weeks we’ve had Private Parking Control & Traffic Services assist us in monitoring and enforcing the parking regulations at SkyCity Condominiums.

It would appear that there are some cars that have received multiple warning tickets as they have either run out of visitor parking passes or have not been registering cars for an overnight pass.

Our building contains 210 Units that all have guests visiting them from time to time. In order to accommodate everyone, we must enforce the visitor parking regulations.

For this reason, any cars that receive 3 warnings or tickets, in a calendar month, will result in the vehicle being towed at the Owner’s expense.

If you require information on how to properly register a vehicle for visitor’s parking or to send a request for a parking pass directly through our website please visit the Visitor Parking page here.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation and for your help in making SkyCity Condominiums run as efficiently as possible!

Best Regards,
Your Management Team

Annual Elevator Testing

The Annual Elevator test will be conducted by our contractor ThyssenKrupp on:

Wednesday, April 18, 2018
Between the hours of
9:00am – 5:00pm

The elevators will be inspected one at a time. This way there will be 2 working elevators at all times. For this reason, there will be no move-ins, move-outs, or deliveries booked on this day.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience during this time.

Parking Garage Work

We have been notified by the developer that scheduling for the garage integration of phase one and two is set to commence on Monday, April 9, 2018, and will proceed for approximately two weeks.

During this time the concrete wall separating the phase 1 parking garage and the phase 2 parking garage will be taken down on P1, Ground Level, and Level 2.

Residents are advised that there will be dust associated with this work. The Construction team has noted that they will take precautions to help alleviate the amount of dust.

This work will take place during normal working hours at which time all garage fans will be turned on and the garage doors will be opened to allow for air circulation.

After final completion of the parking garage construction, the Corporation will be scheduling a power washing.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation,
Property Management

Second Year Common Element Questionnaire

Dear Resident,

WSP has been retained to assess the condition of the common elements at this development, Y.R.S.C.C. 1315. They will be once again completing an investigation, called a Performance Audit. This is regarding items covered under the second year warranty as provided by Tarion Warranty Corporation (TARION).

Your assistance in answering this questionnaire is needed to establish the extent and nature of any suite and any development performance related problems that should have been resolved to date. Please take some time to observe, and recall, what is or has happened in your suite during various weather conditions.

It is extremely important to list any and all deficiencies on the questionnaire. If there are any omissions the repairs will fall upon the owners and the Corporation, which may result in added costs and increased common element fees.

Our report will be submitted to TARION as part of the Condominium’s second-year warranty claim. In order for us to include any performance related problems of the common elements in the two-year warranty claim, please complete the attached questionnaire and return to the security desk by March 16, 2018. Questionnaires have been delivered door-to-door. If you have misplaced your questionnaire, Security has additional copies.

Thank you in advance for helping us establish where problems may exist within the common elements only.

Kind Regards,
P
roperty Management
