Elevator Shutdown

Attention Residents of SkyCity 2 (65 Oneida),

We have been advised by our elevator contractor ThyssenKrupp that they require the elevators to be shut down for service/maintenance on:

Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at 3:30am

The work will shut down the entire group of cars, which will result in little to no elevator use for about 30 minutes. The work has been set at this time so that there will be minimal interference to residents.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation and are sorry for any inconveniences this may cause.

Kind Regards,
Property Management

Happy Halloween!

From all the staff at SkyCity, we would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Halloween!

Please review the below photos that were dropped off by a caring resident to ensure everyone remains safe tonight!

Lighting Retrofit Completed

Dear Residents of SkyCity 1,

We are pleased to announce that the lighting retrofit for our building’s common spaces, that are not shared with SkyCity 2, is complete!

All corridor and chute room bulbs in the building have been changed to LED, which will last longer and reduce our utility costs. Since we applied for the retrofit prior to the government rebate change, we were also able to obtain a partial rebate.

We will endeavor to update the building on any projects that are beneficial and cost-saving.

Kind Regards,
Property Management

Improper Trash Disposal Behaviour

Dear Residents,

It has been brought to our attention that some residents on your floor continue to leave their garbage inside the chute without pushing it through the flap. This behaviour is unfair to the next resident that is forced to push other resident’s garbage before their own.

If the garbage is not properly pushed through the flap, the chute may read “out of service” or “system in use”. This will cause the chute to lock on every floor, thus not allowing all resident to properly dispose of their garbage.

As noted in the rules, located above the garbage chute, residents are to, “place [their] waste in the chute and PUSH THE WASTE THROUGH THE FLAP ensuring it falls all the way down the chute.”

As a courtesy to your neighbours, as well as your communal responsibility, please properly dispose of your garbage as instructed on the Garbage Chute Guidelines.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation,
Property Management
