Fire Alarm Test

Attention Residents of SkyCity 1 & SkyCity 2

Please note that Capital Fire will be conducting the monthly building fire alarm test that will take place in SkyCity 1 (55 Oneida Cres.) on:

Thursday, May 2, 2019

BETWEEN THE HOURS OF

9:00 AM & 5:00 PM

The speaker system will be tested along with the fire alarms. During this time the alarms will sound periodically.

We wish to remind all residents of an important building detail.

As a result of both buildings being connected through the shared amenities, the fire alarm systems are connected as well. If one building is conducting a test on the system or experiences a fire emergency, the alarms in both buildings will sound.

If you have further questions on this system please feel free to contact the Management office and we would be happy to go over it with you.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Visitor Parking System Clarification

Attention All Residents,

There seems to be some confusion regarding the new parking system. Over the last month we have tried to be more lenient with the visitor parking to allow residents to get used to the new system. Now that the month has passed it is important that everyone is registered with the new parking system to avoid their visitor’s vehicles being ticketed.

If you are having an issue with the new system email Management immediately at either alexandra.andriano@scpl.ca or patricia.demarco@scpl.ca.

All residents must register themselves with the building in order to access items such as visitor parking passes or amenity bookings. You may ask Security to verify whether you have already registered or if you still need too.

If you need to register yourself, you must start on our New Resident: Registration Documents and complete the noted necessary forms and documents.

Once you have registered with the building or if you are already registered with the building, you must sign-up on the parking system yrscc1315.condocommunities.com. Once your sign-up is complete, you will be told this needs to be approved.

Management must verify that you are registered with the building in order for your sign-up to be approved. This can only be done during office hours so you must allow yourself 72 hours prior to the need of a parking pass to complete all the above. For this reason, we strongly urge all resident to complete the above as soon as possible to avoid any issues when a pass is needed.

We hope this helps clarify the process for residents and provide direction for those unsure on what needs to be done for a parking pass.

Kind Regards,
Your Management Team

New Party Room Guideline

Attention Residents,

During the last Board of Directors meeting, the policy of hiring Security during party room rentals of 25 people or more was discussed. For the next month, as a test, we will be removing this policy from all party room rentals.

What does this mean?
This means, if you have booked the party room or are going to book the party room for the next month, you will not need to hire Security. However, Security will still be involved in your party. The Guard for your building will do the pre-inspection and post-inspection with you before and after the event. The Guard will also check on your party, by conducting periodic walk-throughs of the party room and outside hallway, to ensure everyone is properly behaving themselves and following the room’s terms and conditions.

If this added responsibility to residents reserving the room does not pose an issue then this policy change will continue each month. If residents cannot handle the additional responsibility over their guests, the policy will be re-instated.

We hope this change brings about more enjoyment of the room, while residents still maintain respect for the property.

Kind Regards,
Your Management Team

Visitor Parking System Expiry Error

Attention All Residents,

A couple individuals have experienced an error when trying to obtain a parking pass through our new system (accessible through yrscc1315.condocommunities.com).

When requesting a parking pass for the night the expiry date is noted as a time before the actual issue date. For example if I request a pass on April 16 at 6:30pm the expiry date is noted as April 16 at 7:00am.

Customer support for the parking system has told us that this is an issue with the internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.) you are using. You must make sure your browser is the most current, up-to-date version. If your browser is an older version, try to download or update it to the newest version available.

We have brought this issue up to our parking enforcement company to keep them aware of resident’s experiences. They noted they will be keeping an eye on the date/time the pass was issued. Therefore, if you are experiencing this issue even after updating your browser, do not worry. Your parking pass will be valid from the date/time you have requested it to the following morning.

Thank you,
Property Management

Parking Enforcement System Changes

Attention Residents,

Effective immediately we have transitioned to a new visitor parking system that will help manage the visitor parking available at SkyCity.

You will receive an email on April 1st to activate your account. You can access this system through our visitor parking page and the login/username is your email address. to reset your password you can email us and we will respond during office hours. If you need your password reset immediately you can email hello@condocommunities.com or call their customer service line 1-844-235-8567.

We are hoping this new implementation will ensure that the parking spots are more available for the visitors to the building and this will also help you keep track of how many passes you have requested each month.

During the next week we will be leaving the registration on our website open to help residents that are in need of visitor parking while they set up their accounts. This is temporary so please set up your account immediately.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation and for your help in making SkyCity Condominiums run as efficiently as possible!

Your Management Team

Amenity Booking Platform Launch

Attention All Residents,

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new secure booking platform. This secure platform will allow you to use your credit card to pay for amenities, have damage deposits held on your credit card for items such as an elevator bookings, and even pay for a new filter, FOB, and/or garage remote.

A link to this platform will be added on our Building Amenities page for easy access. Now you will be able to view amenity availabilities from the comfort of your home, schedule an available date and pay by credit using the online system. Please note, if your party has over 25 guests (including yourself) you are required to book a security guard.  You will need to send Management an email with the hours Security is required, provide a cheque to Security for the guard fee, and confirm with Security that a guard has been secured for the required date.

For instructions on how to use this system please login to your account, using the registration email you were sent, and select the user guide from the left hand-side menu. We will also post instructions on our website under the Building Amenities page for reference.

If you or someone you know is having difficulty accessing their account or having trouble navigating the new system, we have a designated computer in the office for us to assist you on. If your account has any incorrect information or you have not received an email to register for the platform please let us know and we will update the system accordingly. This is a new system for all of us so we appreciate your patience and cooperation during this learning curve.

Please note, the Theatre Room and Wii Rooms are not currently available for use. They are in the final stages of being set-up by the developer and their trades. Once they are available we will post an announcement informing everyone.

The second guest suite is now ready for use! We will upload photos of the room to our website in the next coming weeks.

We are requesting that you all become familiar with the site, as we believe it will enhance your condo experience. We hope everyone enjoys the new system! We have been working very hard to bring it to your finger tips and couldn’t be happier to have it finally launch. We hope this makes everyone’s amenity experience more enjoyable and efficient.

If you have any issues completing the registration process you may call 1-888-762-6636 or email contact@condocontrolcentral.com.  (Please note that this number is for website support only.)
