URGENT attention and IMMEDIATE action is required to stop the careless tossing of cigarette butts off all balconies. With the warm weather present and balcony furniture being displayed, balcony fires are a real threat. Your safety and the safety of everyone else living in this building is at risk. There must be absolutely zero tolerance for this dangerous act.
They CAN, they WILL and they HAVE lit condominiums ON FIRE.
It is in the best interest of each resident and your guest who choose to smoke on the balcony to ensure that cigarette butts are disposed of properly and not tossed below where they can blow onto someone else’s balcony. Also for those units that face north/east the 3rd floor outdoor terrace area has artificial turf which is a flammable product!
Remember, if you cause a fire below, you’re above it!
For the protection of life and property, if this problem persists we will further investigate and identify the perpetrators and deal with them accordingly.
